You need to add a sentence that begins with the last word of the previous post.

(Edit: You may edit your sentence, but NOT after someone has responded to your sentence.)

(Edit: If someone gets a response sentence in just before you, just use the edit feature {3 dots upper right} to change your sentence to follow theirs.)

On a forum that I used to frequent some time ago there was a thread for posting the things that happened to irk you that day. Sometimes we can all get a little annoyed with the little things. For instance I was irritated with one of the dogs at home this morning because he doesn't like to go outside in the morning if it's cooler than 65 degrees. Spoiled by creature comforts I would say.. And sometimes it's the bigger things like losing a wallet and someone stealing your identity. On some level these things can be irrationally bothersome. So why not have a place to vent a little. It feels good to get things off your chest, doesn't it? Please understand that this is not a place to post personal attacks or evaluations of other members. On a lighter note, I will also create a thread for things that have lifted your spirits. Fire at will!

Rule is, add only THREE (3) words to continue the story. If you want to cheat by using hyphenated words to slip in more than 3 words, the next person can change the subject. You cannot post until someone else posts. If it gets busy, you might need to edit after someone beats you to the punch line.

Once Upon A Time,

There's a lot of eternal truths and ideas that are learned throughout your lifetime. One major one for me is this: If you're forcing something, you're doing it wrong........ That goes for everything, from mechanical work to building models, to relationships with other people.

What would some of these ideas be to you guys?

In light of a few cooking posts on another thread, a couple of us thought that this might be fun.

My thought is, let's keep it simple with as few rules as possible.

Basically, anything food related, whether it's what you had for dinner, breakfast, lunch or even a snack.

It can be something you made yourself, or even something you ordered in a restaurant.

But let's try to keep it interesting!

Please try to refrain from posting photos of your Domino's pizza or your McDonald's quarter pounder with cheese.

I'll start this party with what I made for the wife & I tonight.

	Nothing horribly complicated.

Some shrimp scampi with a ton of garlic & a little white wine served over Jasmin rice with a side of steamed balsamic green beans & mushrooms with shaved Parmesan.

Along with an all time favorite of ours of good artisan bread with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and shredded Parmagiano Reggiano.

	Steve

With the loss of genuine hobby shops in my area I have relied on online services like eBay to acquire everything from old kits...to paints and modeling tools...and occaisonally magazines like Model Cars, Hot Rod Deluxe or Rodders Journal ( since my Barnes & Noble doesnt carry them anymore ). Up till now the post office has been pretty good at getting these things to me quickly...eBay was very efficient at tracking the delivery routes...I could periodically go online and check their progress. But in the last couple of weeks I've noticed that I am getting false delivery dates...claiming my package "will arrive today"...only to be followed by " there is a problem with your delivery ". In one case the package was sent not to Springfield Va zip 22153 but to Springfield Ma zip 01153. In another the package went to one location in Virginia, then to Dulles, then back to the other location. Yesterday I was informed of an imminent delivery of a couple of car magazines...only to be informed this morning " there was a problem with your delivery ", kicking it down the road three days. A seller in Florida thinks its related to how the USPS has changed its distribution system...consolidating some zones of delivery. I'm wondering if postal workers are confused...or even slowing down or mucking up distribution in protest. Anybody else experiencing issues like this?

Hey, everyone! While riding through town not too long ago, I passed by a thrift store that had a bunch of bikes out front..... I've always wanted a custom/lowrider bicycle! I do believe that as a gift to myself I may try to pick one of these thrift store bikes up! I've been looking around online at builds and accessories and such. I think that a 'beach cruiser' will be ideal for what I have in mind........ Searching on IG, I found this pic. I don't like the 'twisted' parts, but other than that it's perfect! It's basically a cruiser with forks and handle bars.

The girl is giving a 'sign', I thought I should block that.........
