	At today's DAAM show in Waterford Twp, MI, Round2 announced that a Mack B-61 semi will be released a year from now.  Didn't get to speak to anyone manning the display, so I'll let someone who did provide more details.

<p>This started as a post on an AMT 1/43 thread and was moved here as a new thread for some reason. I know this is a truck kit but the OP wanted to create a list of all the 1/43 AMT kits. I guess you can't do that if they involve cars and trucks??</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Anyway, Lets start a list of all the 1/43 Truck kits made by AMT.</p>

	Heller. Or shall I say Hell-Err?<br />
	<br />
	So I just took delivery of this kit:
</p>

<p>
	<img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="854722" data-ratio="66.80" width="1024" alt="CitroenC4Fourgonnette1928Heller(1).JPG.c3850b16d045d33aae61532c8e42350e.JPG" data-src="//media.invisioncic.com/y335970/monthly_2025_11/CitroenC4Fourgonnette1928Heller(1).JPG.c3850b16d045d33aae61532c8e42350e.JPG" src="https://forum.modelcarmakers.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I'm not sure whether this has been mentioned before (nothing showed up on my search), but the kit has some serious and not so serious issues.
</p>

<p>
	The serious one is that the inner structure of the loading box sidewalls is very prominently repeating itself as sink marks on the outside surfaces.<br />
	This doesn't show very well on my photos (sorry, can't do any better), but it means you either have to to do a lot of putty work, and I do mean a lot, or cover them with thin styrene sheet.<br />
	<br />
	<img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="854723" data-ratio="91.87" width="836" alt="CitroenC4Fourgonnette1928Heller(3).JPG.f80e4d99449a4fb72db38aa14f550b5f.JPG" data-src="//media.invisioncic.com/y335970/monthly_2025_11/CitroenC4Fourgonnette1928Heller(3).JPG.f80e4d99449a4fb72db38aa14f550b5f.JPG" src="https://forum.modelcarmakers.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="854724" data-ratio="58.20" width="1024" alt="CitroenC4Fourgonnette1928Heller(4).JPG.0a2116648c17168d956e0ce122d115dc.JPG" data-src="//media.invisioncic.com/y335970/monthly_2025_11/CitroenC4Fourgonnette1928Heller(4).JPG.0a2116648c17168d956e0ce122d115dc.JPG" src="https://forum.modelcarmakers.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The other one is less severe, but still annoying. The body parts tree that's not moulded in white, is moulded semi translucent:
</p>

<p>
	<img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="854725" data-ratio="67.19" width="1024" alt="CitroenC4Fourgonnette1928Heller(2).JPG.ed8e7d71266c8bec4d04d30260c63c2d.JPG" data-src="//media.invisioncic.com/y335970/monthly_2025_11/CitroenC4Fourgonnette1928Heller(2).JPG.ed8e7d71266c8bec4d04d30260c63c2d.JPG" src="https://forum.modelcarmakers.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Please take this into consideration when you decide to buy the kit.
</p>

<p>
	You have been warned.
</p>

<p>
	I'm not responsible.
</p>

	Just got a Revell newsletter which showed this GMC Van in the Stranger Things series of kits.
</p>

<p>
	Looking at the parts it's definitely not the old Monogram 1/24th scale, but all new tooling.
</p>

<p>
	Anyway Van's are always a great canvas for decorative artwork.

	<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">You can see a photo of the test shot (courtesy of James Duff, and repeated below this note in this thread, again courtesy of James) in the same thread topic on the New Car Kits section of the Industry News section of the forum, but today at the NNL East Round 2 unveiled their latest "clone" project, a redo of the original AMT 1963 F100 pickup kit, in this case, the 1968 kit release with the added camper top shell.  </span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">This new "kit clone" tooling was apparently designed from the start as a parallel part of the 1960 F100 tooling set.  The body itself appears a much higher quality casting (at least based on what I see here) than the original 1963/1964/1968 AMT kit release, eliminating many of the sags, sink marks, and so forth of the original.  It also has a far better execution of the 1963-only upper bodyside molding.  The engine is apparently the same Y-Block as in the 1960 kit.  This and the 1960 are apparently on pretty much the same glide path in terms of development timing; reportedly they should appear on the market either at approximately the same time or the second one soon after the first one debut.  </span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">This one has been near or at the top of my "wanted" pickup kit topics since at least the early 1980's (see my WIP thread on my build of the original kit elsewhere on the Forum for details), I hope it is near the top of your "wants" as well. </span>
</p>

<p>
	Major league kudos from this corner for Tom Lowe, Steve G, John G, and the entire Round 2 team.  Way to go, guys!  TIM

	Heller announced a German standardised 3 ton trailer of the kind that was in use from the 1930s to the 1950s, with some surviving much longer on small farms.<br />
	The pattern was built by numerous manufacturers, such as Blumhardt, Kaessbohrer, Kögel, and many others. They were also widely exported throughout Europe.
</p>

<p>
	It's pretty perfect for all the vintage tractors that have emerged lately, but also wouldn't look wrong behind an Italeri Opel Blitz.

	I think this one got a bit trampled courtesy of the Peugeot 205 hype.<br />
	Heller is finally following up the R4 with the Fourgonnette version.
</p>

<p>
	Edit: Why did they opt for an Austrian numberplate for their box art?<br />
